Mason Hedgecoth is the son of ex-hippy, old-time and bluegrass diehards. He grew up where Norman Blake, Neil Young, and The Byrds were played back to back, and given the same reverence as the hymns his family sang on Sundays. Moving to Brooklyn in 2003, he played as Yojimbo, before joining the band Golden Bones, where he writes, sings, and fills a multi-instrumental roll.
