This album was recorded between 2010 and 2011 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. It was the outcome of a number of songs I wrote up over a time of at least 5 years, and while there may not be many of them, I poured my heart into them. When the full-time band I play with (Golden Bones) took a short break, I decided to record these solo, enlisting the talents of my friends: drummer Evan Lytton (Medicine Man), and bassist Brian Frey (Golden Bones & Medicine Man). With Mike Kutchman behind the board at his Kutch1 studio in the storied Pencil Factory building, we rehearsed and recorded the songs in the span of 2 days. Cut to a year later, I finally got around to laying down vocals and overdubs. Cut to now, and I am uploading it here.

Moving to Brooklyn in 2003, he played as Yojimbo, before joining the band Golden Bones, where he writes, sings, and fills a multi-instrumental roll. ... more
